I can’t say enough great things about Dr Joel Beck and his team. For reference, I’m 55 years old, take care of my skin, have done injectables for years and am now ready for a surgical lift. I had a face/neck lift, facial fat transfer and Renuvion skin firming treatment done. All throughout my pre op, my surgery and recovery, Dr Beck and his team have taken great care of me, made me feel so comfortable and had the best bedside manner. I highly recommend Dr Beck for any surgical procedures as he is truly an artist but his facial surgery is top notch. Everything looks so firm and lifted but so natural. I saw Heather Rypien to have my lips done. I talked to her about why I wanted them done. I told her the lines around my lips have really started to bother me and I feel like they have started to lose some of their fullness. I felt no pain at all during the process. I actually asked her at one point if she had started injecting. And as far as the results, they looked more natural after the process! They seem to fit my face better now and the lines around my lips are so much softer than before. I absolutely love the results! I’m kicking myself for taking so long to do this but I’m grateful that my procrastination led me to Heather. She is just fabulous!

I had Blepharoplasty surgery (sagging eyelid removal). I can’t be more thrilled with my results. Dr. Beck was so easy to talk to, listened and gave me the exact results I wanted! Recovery was painless and quick. I am 5 weeks out and you can barely see the scars.

I flew all the way from Nebraska to see Heather. Her level of education and expertise makes me feel so informed and comfortable. I recently visited Heather at Beck Aesthetic Surgery and she is truly amazing. I went in there not aware of issues with shape & unevenness in my face. She pointed out my facial issues. I went in there with an uneven jawline, no shape in my cheekbones, and basically no lips (they were very thin). Thanks to her attentiveness to detail I have fuller lips, fuller cheeks and jawline. Heather was determined to create fuller lips and I love her determination. Heather is amazing and the best in what she does. Highly recommend Heather!! You will not regret it!

I can't recommend Dr. Beck and his team enough. He truly changed my life. I scheduled a virtual consultation with Dr. Beck in late November for a BBL and lipo 360 and had the procedure on 1/6/21. I'm currently 1 week and 2 days post-op and could not be happier with my results. Dr. Beck, Joy, and his team were incredibly helpful and amazing to work with. Dr. Beck knew exactly how to fix my deviated septum and crooked nose while making the results look natural and fitting to my face. His team is very friendly and the office is clean and comfortable. The Patient Care Coordinator, Darla, is very friendly and helped me finance my procedure and made everything super easy and comprehensive. They have round the clock care over the phone and I never had to wait to speak to a team member. I especially love that his procedures are done in a hospital so I felt extra safe. I am so happy with my results! Dr. Beck is extremely personable and made my experience a positive one. The staff was all-around friendly and welcoming. The best thing about the surgical procedure was the care and concern shown before and after my procedure was completed.

I did tons of research until I found him. He lived up to all of his other great reviews. My body looks better than I expected and I’m only about 2 weeks post-op! I spent years working out after having kids to get my pre-pregnancy body back only to be disappointed by trouble areas that would not go away. Dr. Beck gave me my dream body in 1 session and I am so VERY grateful and happy! In 1 month I have the body I always dreamed of having. When I first met with Dr. Beck and his Staff I knew he would be my surgeon. Everyone is so kind and experienced. Most doctors would send you home after surgery. Dr. Beck will keep you overnight in a hospital to make sure you are doing good before you go home. I believe that is what all surgeons should do. I'd highly recommend Dr. Beck and his team. I had several initial consultations with other surgeons before choosing Dr. Beck, and I ultimately chose him because of his practice’s level of organization and his patience and honesty with answering my questions. Dr. Beck does a good job of managing expectations and using his experience to be consultative. I liked that he had opinions on implant size and brands that he thought would suit me based on his experiences. When I asked him tough questions about scarring, breastfeeding in the future, or my personal risks given a family history of breast cancer, he provided very candid answers and made sure I was comfortable and informed. Once he had an impromptu call with me just to listen to my concerns about my grandmother's breast cancer and explained the risks associated with my scenario. I appreciated that honesty most about Dr. Beck. Many other surgeons gave vague responses or underplayed potential risks in the interest of persuading me to move forward with the surgery. Since breast augmentation is elective, it felt like there was sometimes an element of salesmanship from some other surgeons. I always had the sense that Dr. Beck cared about the longer-term implications of the surgery and wanted to make sure that I'd be satisfied afterward. Additionally, his practice is well-managed and his staff is very knowledgeable. It was much appreciated that they provided quick answers to questions (ex: they were always available to explain pre-op and recovery processes, they helped me pick surgical bras and explained my new bra sizing). Since there's a lot of coordination involved and many small questions that pop up, it's very important that the surgeon's office staff is top-notch and responsive. During the surgery, his operating room staff was also very kind - one of the nurses held my hand when I was nervous before the anesthesia.

Doctor Beck was very good about managing my expectations leading up to the surgery and still went above and beyond with my care. I would definitely recommend him to anyone who needs their extra skin removed after extreme weight loss. I cannot wait to see my final results.

Doctor Joel Beck went above and beyond with my Corset Trunkplasty. As a massive weight loss patient, I consulted with several of the top plastic surgeons in Charlotte. I decided to go with Doctor Beck because he was the only one to suggest an advanced approach that could get me closest to my goal, without multiple lengthy surgeries and recoveries. Overall, I am very happy with the work that he has done; my incisions are so clean they look like papercuts, I had minimal discomfort during recovery, and he has removed ALL of my excess skin. I got a Brazilian butt lift only a few weeks ago and I'm obsessed with the results Dr. Beck has given me! I asked to not make my results too noticeable and to focus on mainly taking away my love handles and filling out my hip dip I had and he delivered perfectly! I started seeing Dr. Beck a little over a year ago when he worked in CA and I wish I would have gone to him sooner. I was 38 at the time looking into botox. This was my first experience with botox/fillers or any professional skin treatments. Dr. Beck made me feel very comfortable. I told him what I was looking for and he gave me his recommendations without making me feel like he's trying to over-sell me something. Dr. Beck referred me to his esthetician, April, for some pigment treatment and we had a virtual consultation. She got me started on the Zo pigment control line and my skin has transformed. Most of the brown spots are gone from aging and sun damage. The products and instructions were sent in a timely manner given I'm on the west coast. I can't say enough positive things about these two.

I’ve wanted lipo and BBL for years. During my research I came across Dr. Beck. I read all his reviews and pictures. Based upon the positive comments I scheduled an consultation. November 2019 I finally had by breast implant/ lift after many years of contemplations and consults. I decided to go with Dr. Beck mainly because of how friendly the staffs were. I felt like they were honest, professional, and relatable. Dr. Beck will only do what is best for you, I remember wanting to go bigger and out of the 9 previous consults that I had he was the only surgeon who explained the risk of implanting larger implants into a small pocket, something I had never thought of. My only advice for any moms especially nurses who are thinking of getting a lift/implants, is to take plenty of time off (min 6 weeks). You will not be able to reach up or lift anything heavy.

Dr. Beck is truly an artist and excellent surgeon. I’ve always been insecure about my stomach area and (lack of) waist. I never thought I would be one to get plastic surgery either, but I felt comfortable with Dr. Beck. Now I can truly say that Dr. Beck has changed my life and it was 1000% worth it. I had lipo to my abdomen and flanks 2 weeks ago. Dr. Beck does his Charlotte procedures in a hospital which also made me feel much safer if anything went wrong (plus the hospital staff are SUPER meticulous about everything). I was in and out that day with minimal pain. My results are incredible so far, I’ve lost 2 inches on my waist and 3 on my hips / lower abdomen and told that I’m still swollen and final results will be in 3-6 months! I never thought I could feel confident wearing certain clothing that’s been sitting untouched in my closet for years, and now I can’t wait! To anyone considering getting liposuction in the Charlotte area, I know you've done your research and you're probably wondering if you'll ever find a doctor that just feels right. Look no further! After "shopping" for plastic surgeons for a breast augmentation for quite some time, I finally found someone I trusted to perform the surgery for me! I've had many friends that have gotten breast augmentations in the Charlotte area and, to be honest, seeing some of their results is what made me hesitant. From my initial call and conversation with Darla, I was immediately taken aback not only the level of professionalism I received, but also how personalized the experience was for me (I did not receive this same care from other cosmetic offices). After talking to Darla, who I honestly cannot speak highly enough of, I then had my consultation with Dr. Beck. After speaking with him for only a few minutes and explaining what I was looking for, I immediately felt comfortable and as though I was in good hands. What I loved most about my experience with Dr. Beck was that he is completely honest with me about what breast size would look best for my body type, whereas I've noticed some plastic surgeons will tell you what you want to hear in order to gain your business. For me, being able to trust my plastic surgeon is of utmost importance. Before my consultation, I kind of had an idea of the size I wanted. However, Dr. Beck was able to show me what that would look like, and then gave me a better size that would look perfect for my body type. I had my breast augmentation in May (a little over a month ago), and while I was extremely terrified initially on the morning of my surgery since I've never had surgery of any kind, Dr. Beck, Darla and Joy greeted me as if I were family and put my fears at ease. The surgery went seamlessly! The staff checked in on me regularly and was so helpful at responding to my many questions I had throughout recovery. Many of the people I've known to have this surgery had their breasts sit so high on their collarbones for months. This never happened for me. My breasts, while they were swollen as was expected, never sat abnormal at all. And now, 1 month later, they already look extremely natural and feel amazing. As someone who's shopped for a cosmetic surgeon tirelessly, I'll save you the headache. I could not recommend Dr. Beck and his staff more highly! I was having trouble seeing with all the 'extra' skin on my upper and lower eyes area. I first started at Dr. Becks' recommendation, with Zo Medical creams and it was very successful under my eyes. Then Dr. Beck and I decided to do a small surgery to remove the skin from my upper eyelids! AWESOME work and VERY successful!! I have had an excellent experience at Beck Aesthetic Surgery every staff member has been courteous, informed, and I have never felt judgment about gender identity. I had my BBL on July 1st with Dr. Beck in Charlotte NC. I had planned on getting just getting Lipo before I turned 40 in August but thanks to this site and a lot of research I got results I never imagined. I met several Doctors in the US but finally found one right here in Charlotte. Dr. Beck is amazing and just moved from CA where he’s had thousands of surgeries. One thing I’m so glad I did was to stay overnight in the hospital after surgery. Few of the doctors I spoke to recommended that but it made so much difference. After I joined a breast implant group, I saw pictures and reviews from Dr.'s Beck previous patients and I booked a consultation. After the consultation he made me feel like I was in good hands. Very friendly and knowledgeable. He also uses the state of the art technology, to give you an accurate visual to see how you will look like after the procedure. I am extremely happy with the results. Where to begin on how wonderful Dr. Joel Beck is! WHY MY REVIEW IS CREDIBLE: I worked for a top female plastic surgeon in silicon valley for 2 years so you can consider my review to be a credible source because I know a thing or two about surgery and I've had some work done myself. WHEN I FIRST MET DR.BECK: I can only speak on the procedure that Dr. Joel Beck did on me and that being the Brazilian Butt fat transfer. Before I decided to go forward with Dr. Beck I did a lot of research, consulted with girlfriends of mine who had this same procedure done else where (LA and Miami) and I wasn't very convinced. First of all I must say I got pretty lucky because I had a cousin of mine do the Brazilian butt fat transfer first with Dr. Beck, so I already knew what to expect to a certain degree. The word of mouth referral came from close family member so I was able to see her progress frequently. I felt more confident and compelled to go forward after seeing my cousin jump back to her normal activities (with minor restrictions) after 3 weeks. I decided to make my first consult with Dr. Beck in February of 2016. My first impression when I walked in the office was how beautifully it was decorated, super modern and clean. I was greeted by Ashely one of the front desk receptionist and offered to help my self to water, tea or coffee at the stand to the right of the office. I waited for less than 7 min when I was called and back to consult with Dr.Beck. Within the first 3 minutes of meeting Dr. Beck I felt very comfortable and relaxed, I was able to talk to him about my insecurities and what I was looking to improve aesthetically. He answered all the concerns and questions I had with confidence. After my consult, he patiently showed me before and afters of other patients with similar body shapes to mine. It didn't take long for me to pay my deposit and schedule my appointment. THE DAY OF MY SURGERY: Having plastic wasn't my first rodeo as I've had a few other procedures such as breast aug and rhinoplasty (with different Dr's). Either way I was nervous but excited at the same time. 45 min prior to surgery Dr. Beck came in the the room where the nurses were prepping me and went through the procedure all over again, answered my questions and lighted me up with his great sense of humor. The anesthesiologist also came and introduced himself and explained to me what to expect when being sedated. I quickly was out cold and all I remember is telling them about my plans after surgery and I woke up with a new body. I stayed over night at the recovery room with nurses taking care of me and monitoring my recovery. Dr. Beck called me that night to check on me and came by first thing in the morning to discharge me. Dr. Beck is a very attentive and professional Doctor. RECOVERY: I must say the first week was pretty hard for me as I had to sleep on my belly and I normally sleep laying straight back. Not being able to sit on my butt was a challenge (crucial as most of the fat cells don't survive after being transferred, so keeping pressure off your bumm is very important) AFTER RECOVERY: Overall its hard to remember now at 8 months later since my surgery if it was painful or not because I'm so happy with my results. I wish I would have done this sooner. I'm so happy with my body. Reality is a women store more fat around the abdomen area as we are biologically born to create off springs and the offsprings need fat to expand in the wound freely. So in order to have a nice bubble butt and a flat tummy without living day and night at the gym and being on strict diet , is surgery. Reality is a normal person doesn't have the time to live in the gym and a normal person should be able to indulge from time to time in good food. Not only that but a persons metabolism really slows down after 24-25 (my age) So its that much harder to have a certain shape. Some people will argue that all it takes is hard work and a good diet blah blah blah .... yea but why not let science help a little.... WHY DR.BECK? I have had GF of my mine who did this procedure with supposably (the best surgeons in LA and Miami) My two gf who did it in Miami had horrible experience with recovery in addition to ugly marks and scar tissue from the harsh liposuction, yea they thought they were saving a couple thousand dollars but if you took into account flights, hotel and after care it ended up costing the same. It cost the same but with a lot more hassel and not the desired results. My gf who did it in LA paid a ridiculous amount of money and most of her fat didn't survive so it was as she just did lipo. If you are in North cali or bay area or anywhere in California Dr. Joel Beck is the only Dr who is a master at this particular type of procedure. It takes a strong man to have the hands to liposuction, and it takes a Dr with a lot of experience (DR.Beck does this procedure regularly, its second nature to him) He stands at like 6'4, is young, full of life and strong. His credentials are just a fraction of why you should choose him. You want to go with a doctor who does the procedure your interested in frequently as he has the most experience. EXPERIENCE IS KEY when selecting any DR. I love Dr. Becks office because its a one stop shop for all my cosmetic maintenance, my fillers, facials, injectables (they do it all) I hope this review was useful to any one interested in having Dr. Beck as their surgeon.

I have to tell you that I'm quite pleased that I went ahead with the surgery and also with Dr. Beck and this office! You and the other ladies are so comforting and pleasant, and I absolutely adore Dr. Beck and am amazed at the results. Take care and I'll be in the office again in a few months. After gaining seventy five pounds with my pregnancy, it took me four years to get most of the weight off. Thrilled with my weight loss but horrified at the loose hanging skin, stretch marks, and sagging breasts, I longed to feel pretty again. Through the recommendation of three of my friends I went in for a consultation. Dr. Beck and his staff made me feel comfortable and secure and 6 weeks later I had a mommy's makeover.
