What is BBL HERO?

BBL HERO represents the next generation of Intense Pulsed Light (IPL), which safely and effectively treats skin concerns such as acne, hyperpigmentation, freckles, redness, age spots, and more. BBL HERO goes beyond the traditional BBL technology and creates incredible results at four times the speed with twice the cooling ability and three times the power. What does this mean? BBL HERO utilizes IPL to heat the layers of your skin. Recovery after Forever Young BBL HERO treatments

Immediately after your treatment, any pigmented spots or lesions will get darker. This is a sign that the BBL light reached the targeted part of your skin successfully. The darkness will fade, and your skin will fully heal within one to two weeks.

Downtime is minimal after BBL. Your skin may be sensitive, and it’s important to protect it from direct sun. Many patients feel comfortable resuming their usual routine and activities within a day after their treatment. When you are outside, even out of the direct sun, use sunscreen liberally.

What is the difference between IPL and BBL?

BBL and IPL are similar rejuvenation treatments, but there are key differences. Forever Clear’s Three-Light Approach

Downtime and Results 

Some patients have slight redness of the skin where the laser passed for the remainder of the day, but makeup should easily hide any pink skin. For the next couple of days after your treatment, your skin may feel dry because the oil is decreasing. In more rare cases, patients have temporarily experienced tingling, swelling, tenderness, irritation, and/or darkened patches on the skin. If you’re concerned about any of these side effects, please bring them up during your consultation with us.

Forever Clear BBL Treatment Details

Treatments with the Forever Clear BBL laser are comfortable and convenient. Before your treatment begins, your skin will be cleaned, and we will give you eye shields to keep your eyes safe from the laser flashes.

As the handheld instrument goes over your skin, quick bursts of light will be emitted into your skin. This feels like a light, warm prickling on top of the dermis. When the treatment is complete, you can return to your regular day. 

How Many Forever Clear Treatments are Needed?

This will depend on your aesthetic concerns, goals, and the severity of your condition. During your consultation with us, we will let you know how many treatments you will need. We typically recommend a series of six treatments performed two weeks apart, with follow-up treatments every three to six months.

What Areas Can be Treated?

Although technically, any area of the body can be treated with Forever Clear BBL to resolve skin concerns, the most commonly addressed are the face, neck, back, and chest.
